I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist credentialed by the (ACHE) American Clinical Hypnotist Examiners 2003. Additional certifications include: Psychoanalytical Hypnotherapy from the School of Analytical & Cognitive Hypnotherapy, England; Hypnosis and DNA Cell Therapy from Healing Arts, Phoenix, Arizona; Practitioner of EFT and Somatic healing from the Alchemy Institute of Hypnotherapy, Santa Rosa, California.
I have a strong business background specializing in multi-million dollar major account sales & project management to Fortune 1000 companies, winning dozens of First in Sales Awards, National Account Manager of the Year Awards, and Major Account Sales Awards. I have sold machine systems and technology to Apparel Manufacturers, the Telecommunications Industry; Major Retailers, Silicon Valley manufacturers and the Graphics and Printing industries, building over $40 million worth of business in my career.
I was born in San Francisco and raised on the Peninsula (30 minutes south of San Francisco), the fortunate child of a doctor and his wife. My first exposure to hypnosis was when I was eleven years old. My father took a course from one of the icons of medical hypnosis. He wanted to help his patients reduce bleeding, speed healing and reduce pain during their recovery from surgery. Dad practiced his hypnosis on me!
I understood how powerful hypnosis was after the first session. I had felt no pain from being pinched really hard on my toe, hard enough to leave a deep mark.
We tried other exercises, which included me holding my arm out at shoulder height for 20 minutes without fatiguing. Without hypnosis I had only lasted 3 minutes trying as hard as I could.
I became highly convinced of the power of this method, and asked Dad to hypnotize me at various times throughout my schooling, when I experienced
fear of tests or difficulty with a subject. It always helped me!
I began to study metaphysics in my early 20's and learned alot more about how the conscious & subconscious mind worked. About how we actually create things in our lives by the thoughts we think. It had never occurred to me that
I could choose my thoughts instead of them just happening to me.
I began to observe my own thoughts and one of my early discoveries was about one of my phrases (which I repeated frequently), that some event or somebody was a "pain in the neck". I realized that if my thoughts "created things" and that the ongoing neck and headache pain I had been experiencing for a number of years potentially had a thought origin. I was naming (and creating) my pain.
I am pleased to say that did it. I was able to self-correct my inner dialogue and I stopped creating that pain in my body.
**Little did I know at that time how profound the theraputic hypnosis process was. More than just direct suggestion, theraputic hypnosis works at the deepest psychological levels where all the experiences and feelings we have had in our lives are stored. From this place, we can learn how we came to be who we are today; heal ourselves; release our pain & fear; and reinforce the things we desire to be or have today.
During this time of exploration, I attended a lecture at a spiritual bookstore where an intuitive hypnotherapist was speaking. As I listened to him describe some of the reasons his clients came to him, and what the results were for them, I began to understand there was so much more that the Theraputic Hypnosis Process could achieve for me. I went to see him professionally and discovered where the barriers were to my happiness and transformed them. Amazing things started to happen. Healthy self-esteem, financial success, physical health, attracting wonderful friendships and loving relationships. I felt as if the wind was in my sails, increasing the joy and goodness in my life.
I can tell you without reservation, that I would not have accomplished what I have in life without "The Lazy Man's Way to Self-Improvement" as I have called it throughout the years. After a lifetime of use and dynamic results, I was offered an opportunity to study and become a Hypnotherapist. I began studying "the therapy process" in 2002 and have been helping my Bay Area clients create the success, health and happiness they've desired.
In 2006, I relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona. Since then, I have seen my clients' incredible potential to obliterate barriers, create dynamic results in careers, create fulfilling relationships and press the Reset Button in their lives... doing The Process and reinforcing positive change with Self-Hypnosis.
